Morning Everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend and that wherever you are the sun is shining, it's shining here in Kent as I write this but the breeze off the sea is sooooo cold you'd need your winter woolies on to to sit out - I'm blaming the lovely Kath Stewart, she gave back the sunshine she 'borrowed' but sent the cold breeze with it as a gift - not so sure about that one Kath, lol!!
Anyway on to crafty matters, this week I've had birthday, engagement and wedding anniversary (ours!) cards to make and also made a couple of little gift boxes for some gift voucher cards. My Craftwork Cards order couldn't have come at a better time, I was so looking forward to the bows and as soon as I saw the bunting I wanted to try and do something different with it, and then the fab tags, what a huge amount in the pad too - CWC are really spoiling us at the moment........
Here's what I created with some of my goodies, hope you enjoy. These little boxes hold a gift card and are so much nicer than a store card in an envelope, I think anyway. All I have used is some
liquid pearls (just love it!), a lovely bow from the bow pad and also loving the new green ribbon too - very simple but very effective ......
Anniversary card.....
I have used paper from one of the great goody boxes, macaroon, beautiful pearlised card stock (loving the new pack of all shaded) embossed card stock and more liquid pearls. I love the way Craftwork Cards products are so co-ordinated, you will always find that you can mix and match products, even from much older collections. Have used words from different stamps to make the little tag and just finished with a piece of ribbon and a couple of charms. Hubby was very happy with it and that made me happy too!
I have turned a simple kraft tag into a cute birthday card by attaching a cut down mini card to the back as you can see below. I drew faux white stitching around the edge of the tag, used some pretty gingham paper from a goody box, added some new mini bunting, a punched out girly dress with a
bow from the great new book of bows (they will never run out!). A sentiment, stardust stickles and
liquid pearl finishes this off a treat! The gift box with the green bow held her pressie and she loved both ......

My final little project for the week was an engagement card for one of my lovely cousins who surprised us all a couple of weeks ago with the great news! Apart from a couple of the embellishments, everything is from Craftwork Cards, I even used the new Kraft Tag as a template to cut a nice pearly card stock tag and same pearl card stock for the card. I used a bow inside out as I wanted a white one and gave it a little glitz spray to make it sparkle. I have used the mini scalloped bunting along the sides to just add some design and then embellished with liquid pearls. Because of the bow I decided it needed a box so another little creation and layered up a lovely big flower to decorate. Will need another box now to mail it in, lol!! The little matching box is to fit the gift card, Thought it would make a lovely wedding or christening favour too..... Sorry for so many pics..
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday, enjoy whatever you do! Wonder if I'll get to sit in the sun? - not so sure! Back next Friday for Candi Club Friday, until then keep happy, smiling and crafting.......
