When only a Red Carpet will do ......

Hi Everybody and welcome back to the UK after Jenny's wonderful Create a Wreath post!

Here's wishing that you are all keeping well and enjoying life! We're on the red carpet today with the fabulous Red Carpet Wreath Kits.  I have made up one as a wreath and used on a gift box, with the other I have used the flowers to decorate the front of a luxury chipboard album.  Two different looks from the same kit.

Ingredients:-
Create a Wreath:  Red Carpet
Luxury chipboard album
Frames - moorish
Liquid Pearls: opal white
Ribbon from kit
2 album rings
Sentiment and hearts stamp

Sponged album cover with pink and cream acrylic paint and glittered the dots with stardust stickles glitter glue.  I used a white embossed frame (Moorish) for the front of the album, I picked out the design with stardust stickles and popped a liquid pearl on all the lattice design cross overs, when dry placed on front of album with white stamped card in aperture.
Decorated left and bottom of frame with layered flowers and ribbon from kit, placed pearls in centres of all flowers.  Tied a double bow on each of the album rings to decorate and creation finished -  a really lovely album that could be used as a photo album or wedding guest book..........  Hope you enjoy the inspiration!

Red Carpet wreath 6 x 6 gift box.....
Made up box and decorated around edges of lid with chantilly champagne Candi.  Decorated round top of lid and centre of lid with liquid pearls in opal white.  Made up wreath by moulding and shaping flowers and layering up into individual flowers and popping a pearl in the centre to finish off.  Added ribbons from kit also to finish off.  Placed on top of lid and glued in place  -  hey presto  beautifully decorated gift box!

Ingredients:-
Create a Wreath Kit:  Red Carpet
Candi, chantilly champagne
6 x 6 White box
Liquid Pearls:  opal white

Hope you enjoyed this inspiration and might use your wreath kits to create something a little different!

  1. Hi Mars
just popping over for the fun blog hop.
I love the card and matching box. I love the way you have used the liquid pearls. By using such delicate drops and a pretty pattern, you have made it look like embossing on the box.
Thanks so much for the inspiration.
